Shhh, I haven't given them to her yet

These are some things I made for my friend for our Christmas exchange, we decided this year to do homemade gifts, I think this may be the beginning of a wonderful tradition. (No, I didn't knit any of the below, I just used some cheap itchy sweaters that I had in the attic)

The red sweater is exactly the same as the blue one except I haven't felted it or chopped it up yet. Soon though, soon.

I also made her these giant socks to wear around her house since I know that heat is always an issue. I had originally started a different pattern but realized they would be too tight so I changed patterns and had to steal some yarn back from the first sock.

Felting is fun

So as a joke I made a friend some elephant underwear for Christmas (he shouldn't have asked for them if he didn't really want them :-) ). I had felted an old sweater that was too itchy to wear to make a bag for a different friend for Christmas and used the left-overs to make the the undies you see below.

It's True, We Can Knit Too!

Hello, I'm going to start with a quickie greeting tonight because it's getting late, but I wanted to make sure I got this started so I can participate in my first secret pal extravaganza. Tomorrow I'll get started on posting my likes and dislikes and all that good stuff. Can't wait to start the snail mail games!
